"The Vatican Vampires' Throne Game" Will Dazzle Audiences With Its Originality, FX Channel Execs Hope

"In this business you gotta stay fresh, ahead of the curve," says FX SVP of public relations, John Sohlberg. "If you try to repackage stuff that everyone's seen before you're dead," he continued.
"Here at FX Channel, we're all very proud of our new offering, 'The Vatican Vampires' Throne Game,'" beamed Sohlberg. "It's like nothing else on TV. It's set in the Vatican, circa 1500 A.D., and loosely based on a real pope and his family," he added. "It's got various cutthroat pretenders to the throne of the Holy Roman Empire all jockeying for position with treachery and deceit. There's the sadistic Prince Joffy, the righteous Bob Snark- son of Ted Snark- the so-called King of the North-By-Northwest, Stavis and Penly Kardashian- younger brothers of deceased king Robert Kardashian, and young Deny Tarkington- known as the mother of Gila monsters," Sohlberg chimed excitedly. "Did I mention that most of them are vampires? Now where are you going to see anything like that on television? Only on FX. That's where!"
